Trevor Wood


Trevor Wood has many talents, as well as serving in the Royal Navy for sixteen years, he’s worked as a journalist and spin-doctor for the City Council. He is an award-winning playwright, co-writing twelve successful plays with his writing partner Ed Waugh, ten of which were hits that have toured all over the world. Having achieved an MA in Creative Writing (Crime Fiction from UEA) Trevor has now written his debut novel, The Man on the Street about a homeless veteran struggling to cope with PTSD who witnesses a murder on Newcastle’s Quayside but no-one believes him. The one thing on his side is, ‘When you’ve got nothing, you’ve got nothing to lose’.

Trevor has lived in Newcastle for the past twenty-five years and is represented by agent Oli Munson at AM Heath. His debut novel, The Man on the Street is published by Quercus in March 2020.
