Karen Clarke always wanted to write stories, but before writing a novel, she has been a secretary/bookkeeper, a wedding photographer, a pub manager, worked in a supermarket, a newsagent’s and as a librarian. Since then, she has written 300 short stories and three popular rom com series: Beachside, Seashell Cove and Little French Cafe.
She now writes full-time, and when she’s not writing, reads a lot, enjoys walking – which is good for plot-wrangling and ideas, watching box sets, baking and eating cakes. And then more walking to work off the cakes.
Karen talks to MYVLF about how she became a writer and novelist, the inspiration behind her stories and gives her tips on becoming an author. In the MYVLF Theatre. You can Watch Now and it’s completely FREE to join.
